The first one is based
on the overall dynamic behavior of the fruit supply chain. The second one is a specific
technologies model for implementing traceability in the chain. This model arises from
the need to identify the dynamics in implementing traceability technologies for the fruit
chain. The study was conducted under the following premise: “ The dynamic behavior
of planning and implementation of technology generates an effect on transformation,
quality, resource allocation, inventory and a traceability system (fruit supply chain)” .
The causal model was obtained from a detailed and rigorous review of the literature
and studies related to the fruit sector in Colombia, on the issue of traceability in the
supply chain of food from the perspective of system dynamics, integration, optimization
and tracking technologies. There are few studies with a focus on traceability as discussed
in this paper. We remark that the developed causal diagrams include a number of
factors not considered in previous works. The results obtained through the proposed causal
analysis, under the methodology of system dynamics, implied the inclusion of the
effect of the implementation of traceability technology in the supply chain of fruits and
their relationships with investment capacity and quality of a product.
ER -
