Este estudio examina el impacto económico que tuvo el Mundial de Fútbol 2014 en Bogotá, Colombia, utilizando herramientas de cálculo integral para cuantificar ingresos y empleo temporal generados por el evento. Se recopilaron datos sobre los ingresos turísticos, la inversión extranjera, y el empleo en sectores específicos durante los periodos de pre-mundial, mundial y post-mundial. La aplicación del cálculo integral permitió analizar y comparar los efectos económicos acumulados en cada periodo. Los resultados reflejan un incremento en el flujo económico en Bogotá, especialmente en el sector turístico, y una disminución en la tasa de desempleo durante el evento.
