This study presents a bibliometric and network analysis regarding the global knowledge of the environmental sustainability of wooden furniture. It aims to reveal the scientific production of this theme, showing a general and current overview of it, as well as identifying patterns of scientific collaboration and topics developed. A collection of 295 documents was compiled, extracted from Scopus. Bibliometric techniques were used on two streams: performance analysis and science mapping; using, besides, a social network analysis approach. The results indicate that the topic is recent and has grown in the last years. Involvement of authors is broad but dispersed. Additionally, with the network of keywords, four thematic streams were identified. The findings can be used by different stakeholders involved in the wooden furniture sector, from researchers to policymakers, contributing to a wider objective of sustainable development.
