El continente asiático se ha caracterizado por ser formador de campeones deportivos, su sobresaliente participación en grandes certámenes deportivos es evidencia de ello, esto se debe a su alto interés en la formación de talentos deportivos. El presente artículo recopila y analiza la información de diferentes países asiáticos y el proceso que llevan a cabo a la hora de detectar, seleccionar, caracterizar y promocionar un talento deportivo, también se realizan observaciones de variables, sociales, culturales y políticas, que podrían incidir fuertemente, en el desarrollo de estos talentos.

The Asian continent has been characterized by being a trainer of sports champions, its outstanding participation in major sports competitions is evidence of this. This is due to its high interest in the training of sports talents, this article collects and analyzes information from different countries Asians and the process they carry out when it comes to detecting, selecting, characterization and promoting sports talent, observations are also made of social, cultural and political variables, which could strongly influence the development of these talents.
