Resumen (en)
In response to the declaration of the Sonsureño, as cultural and musical heritage of Pasto, which dates back to October 2016, at the San Pedro de Cartago institution, it was decided to start a project from the area of physical education, where the importance of dance stands out. and its practice; For this reason, in conjunction with the mathematics and physics teacher, a project was promoted, where the movements made by a certain person were evaluated, at the time of practicing said rhythm. For this purpose, the social critical paradigm with a qualitative approach was adopted, methodologically, with the support of key participants made up of students and teachers from grades 100 and 110 of the San Pedro de Cartago educational institution, Nariño. For its part, seven (7) musical pieces from Sonsureño were selected. After that, a research and transversalization process was carried out, where it was possible to confirm the learning of different mathematical and physical concepts, from dance and play, with the purpose of strengthening the students' knowledge, especially for understanding of operations basic.
