Peer review

The received articles will undergo an initial review by the editorial team, verifying compliance with the requirements, the article's thematic focus, and the submission of the following documents:

Subsequently, if the article complies with this first filter, it will be sent for evaluation to two expert peer reviewers, through a double-blind “Peer-review” process, guaranteeing the anonymity of the authors and evaluators, who will issue their opinion on the text after their review. The review process of research articles is partially supported by a technological tool based on artificial intelligence (AI) for the search of peer reviewers. This search is performed in open and closed databases, and is based on the quality criteria established by the journal, which can take approximately 4 to 5 months on average.

Once the reviewers' comments are received, the editorial team will issue the final decision regarding the article's publication process.

If articles submitted for peer review do not receive comments from external reviewers within the mentioned timeframe, the submission will be rejected, allowing the authors to submit it to another scientific journal.

The immediate publication of an article is not guaranteed to the authors, as it must meet the established filters and timelines. The decision to reject a manuscript is final and non-appealable.
