Resumen (es)

El desarrollo de los estudios de planificación de asentamientos humanos en Colombia, es un tema de estudio relativamente nuevo en el que se han planteado alternativas de solución desde diversas áreas del conocimiento, pasando por las Ciencias Sociales hasta la Ingeniería. No obstante, pese al interés en el tema que muestran diversos actores académicos, políticos, económicos o sociales, actualmente se siguen presentando graves problemas que afectan tanto el bienestar de los pobladores como  el desarrollo económico del país.
