Thematic focus: Dendrochronology

Colombia Forestal invites the national and international scientific community to submit original research articles for Volume 30, Number 1 (2027), with a thematic focus on dendrochronology and its multiple applications in the study of forest ecosystems, climate dynamics, land management, and conservation.

This thematic edition seeks contributions related to climate reconstructions, forest growth dynamics, responses to climate change, disturbance analysis, applications in ecology and forestry, as well as methodological innovations in dendrochronology.

Organized by: Colombia Forestal and the Colombian Dendrochronology Network.

Deadline for submission of research articles: May 30, 2026

Manuscripts must be original and unpublished. Compliance with the journal's editorial standards is mandatory, and submissions must be made exclusively through the journal's OJS portal.
