This paper presents the design and simulation of a system for power generation with solar power plant using multi-paradigm programming language and interpreted. The simulator provides information on the economic and technical feasibility of the implementation of the system designed based on the monthly energy consumption of the building where it will be installed; thus the technical characteristics and the amount of each of the components of the photovoltaic solar plant are set to achieve the supply of electric power required. The final design obtained by the simulator makes it possible to know the cost of the system and the monetary savings would represent in terms of consumption of energy from conventional sources. The project research development was addressed through three methodological steps; the first involved the relevant documentation for the appropriation of the subject, the second simulator was developed and finally, the results were analyzed.
