Resumen (es)

En la fincas floricultoras de la sabana de Bogotá, se generan abundantes desechos orgánicos vegetales, la disposición final de este material orgánico  por lo general  está a cargo de terceros.

actualmente la se ha implementado dentro de las instalaciones de las floricultoras un sitio específico para la práctica del compostaje, ya que entidades que promueven las buenas prácticas ambientales como FLORVERDE y ASOCOLFLORES incluyen dentro de su  normatividad tratar los residuos orgánicos, esto ha conllevado a  progresar en la mitigación de impactos en los diferentes componentes ambientales como son: suelo, agua, aire, fauna y flora, pero aun se evidencia deficiencias en el control de esta práctica con respecto a la inspección de  lixiviados, pH, temperatura, olores y no se cuenta con la infraestructura necesaria para llevar a cabo esta actividad, esto se debe a que los parámetros de exigencia para tratar residuos sólidos no  son  estrictos, lo que genera en el empresario abordar esta problemática de una manera muy superficial.
