El Kinball está definido en el mundo como un deporte de nueva tendencia, fue creado desarrollar en las jóvenes habilidades de trabajo en equipo, colaboración y respeto por las diferencias.

El colectivo de investigación en administración deportiva (CIAD) ha considerado definir patrones de convivencia y cohesión social respondiéndose a la pregunta ¿Cuáles son los patrones de convivencia de los jóvenes participantes  en el proyecto “Kinball como mecanismo promotor de convivencia escolar  y cohesión social” de la UPZ Tibabuyes Suba? por medio de la práctica recreativa del kinball y bajo la métodos de observación etnográfica  considerando importante que por medio de la práctica de un nuevo deporte los jóvenes desarrollaron nuevas habilidades sociales, siendo más conscientes de sus capacidades, fortaleza,  debilidades y naturaleza de grupo.

Además de considerar una nueva práctica deportiva el colectivo CIAD considera que por las características técnicas del kinball son fundamentales para el desarrollo social de los jóvenes, que un nuevo deporte puede ayudarlos a adquirir nuevas formas cognitivas y de asociación social que contribuyen al espíritu no violentos en la sociedad y en el deporte.
