Durante el año 2013, un paro agrario conmocionó a la opinión pública colombiana, el entusiamo de los manifestantes: la rigurosa respuesta de las fuerzas del orden estatal, la participación de distintas regiones afectadas por las medidas macroeconómicas gubernametales, el uso de nuevas tecnologías de comunicación, los bloqueos y los consabidos enfrentamientos en campos y en ciudades, acapararon la atención de propios y extraños durante varias semanas. Los manifestantes además contaron con la simpatía de amplios grupos de personas quienes rechazaban las declaraciones del Presidente en las cadenas nacionales de televisión desconociendo la existencia del paro.How to Cite
