La pandemia por la que atraviesa el mundo durante este 2020 ha transformado muchas prácticas y actuaciones de los seres humanos en diferentes escenarios; uno de ellos es el entorno escolar. El presente texto tiene como propósito reflexionar sobre las relaciones entre cuerpo, emociones y educación en estos tiempos en los que la mediación de la tecnología ha sido la herramienta fundamental para continuar con las prácticas de enseñanza, aprendizaje y el desarrollo de los sujetos. Estas consideraciones acogen una serie de preguntas a partir de un breve recorrido por los planteamientos de la cognición, su relación con las emociones y la importancia de los gestos en el procesamiento del lenguaje, para tejer una serie de relaciones que permitan resignificar una pregunta fundamental del currículo: ¿para qué educamos?

Many practices and actions have been transformed in different human scenarios due to the pandemic situation (COVID 19), one of those has been the school environment. The purpose of this text reflects on the relationships between body, emotions, and education during this time. It revises the mediation of technologies as a fundamental educational tool to continue the human developing, and the teaching and learning practices. These considerations collect a serie of questions going through a brief tour into the different cognitive approaches. The relationship with the emotions and the importance of language gestures weaves a series of connections that allow a fundamental curriculum reformulated question: Why are we educating?
