Abstract (es)

Since the 1990s, Paul Gilster (1997) has introduced the concept of digital literacy, which he defines as "the ability to understand and use information in multiple formats from a wide range of sources, when presented through computers" (p. 1). Undoubtedly, this concept has evolved in parallel with the development and expansion of technology in working and social life, and its acceptance has been significant, given the growing increase in the use of multiple hypermedia formats and digital tools that have given rise to new and varied ways of reading and writing in the world, of interacting with others, and of understanding and learning new logics of communication mediated by technological artefacts.
