En este trabajo, discutimos la importancia de las TIC's en la labor que cada día desarrollan los investigadores en la búsqueda de nuevos conocimientos. Encontramos que los investigadores ven de gran utilidad buscar cada vez nuevas herramientas e identificar sus potencialidades para tomarlas como base de sus investigaciones, por ejemplo para la clasificación y recopilación de bibliografía y datos. Para este propósito hicimos una encuesta a una comunidad de profesores investigadores y estudiantes de últimos semestres de Física, posteriormente analizamos los resultados para ver la importancia y utilidad que las TICs tienen en el desarrollo de la ciencia.

In this paper, we discuss the importance of ICTs in researchers work when they are looking for new knowledge. We found that researchers consider important to seek new tools and identify their potential to take them as the basis of their research, for example for the classification and compilation of bibliography and data. For this purpose, we conducted a survey of a community of research professors and undergraduate students of last year of Physics and then analyzed the results to see the importance and usefulness of ICTs in the development of science.
