Abstract (es)
Siempre se habla con propiedad de un computador, de los elementos y dispositivos que lo componen, de los diversos medios para almacenar información en él, etc., sin embargo, muy pocas personas ajenas al área de la informática saben realmente que ocurre en su interior, qué es lo que permite que hoy en día podamos disfrutar de esta clase de tecnología y mucho menos imaginarse ¡que hay Física involucrada allí dentro! Justamente uno de los procesos más importantes en el funcionamiento de un PC, como lo es el almacenamiento de información y su posterior lectura, se basa en principios netamente físicos; gracias a algunos procesos de carácter electromagnético es posible escribir y leer datos en el disco duro de un computador.

It is common to talk about computers, elements and devices that make it up, different ways to store information in it, etc., however, very few people outside the area of computing really know what happens inside, What kind of physics concepts are involved there? Precisely one of the most important processes in the operation of a PC like information storage and its subsequent reading is based on purely physics principles; these are some processes of an electromagnetic nature that allow reading and writing data on a computer's hard disk. This work presents an approach to this knowledge.
